The care and concern Louise uses when she labours over each stone means she creates more than a piece of jewellery, it’s a masterpiece from a true artist. I have an azurite which “called me” and there was an instant connection as soon as I saw it. I love wearing it because of its unique beauty and I am all about ‘one of a kind’. Personally I would love to own many more pieces that Louise makes and in time I will.
Louise connects intimately with each stone, and given the opportunity she will match the stone to you. Watching Louise at work is an education and I can see her growing from strength to strength with each new design and technique. She can take a grubby looking stone and see its potential immediately. She goes to work, sometimes for days, just cutting and polishing the stone before the beauty she knew was there all along, emerges and begins to reveal itself.
The wonder of Louise’s work is that each piece has its own story. The meanings and emotions embedded deep in each work of art, progressively unlock the more you wear them. Each piece and its owner will have a love story for life.
