Rose Quartz forms in the trigonal system in massive form as compact prisms. It forms infrequently as developed crystal structure, but these beautiful pieces are hard to find. The stone takes its name from its colour, which ranges from pale to deep pink. It is found in a number of different places, but Brazil is the major source.
